2022 Taylor GS Mini-e Sitka Spruce/Rosewood

After looking for a smaller sized acoustic guitar to take on holiday and watching glowing reviews about the model, I bought this 2022 Taylor GS Mini-e with a natural Sitka Spruce top and layered Indian Rosewood sides and back from Guitars in the Attic based in Mansfield, U.K. via Reverb in late October 2026.

This example was made on 31 May 2022 in Taylor’s Mexican Tecate facility and originally sold for £649-£699 against a RRP of £779 in the U.K. It is in mint condition and features the scaled-down Grand Symphony body shape, Crelicam ebony fretboard and a built-in ES-B pickup and preamp system on the upper side equipped with an onboard digital chromatic tuner, volume and tone controls. The Taylor GS Mini-e Spruce/Rosewood is made at Taylor’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. The factory is located just across the border, roughly 40 to 45 miles from Taylor’s main global headquarters in El Cajon, California. Unlike many brands that outsource to third-party overseas factories, the Tecate facility is 100% owned and operated by Taylor.

Taylor uses identical engineering, high-tech tooling, and strict quality control processes at both its US and Mexico plants. Teams of engineers and wood specialists travel between the two sites daily to ensure high build quality. The Tecate plant specifically builds Taylor’s layered-wood acoustic guitars including the GS Mini, Academy, 100, and 200 series as well as the brand’s high-quality gig bags and cases.
